Mounting Options

Why are there holes in galvanized bike racks?
Galvanized racks are dipped into a bath of molten zinc. The holes allow air and zinc to flow through the rack during this process, preventing pressure buildup and ensuring the inside and outside are fully galvanized for maximum corrosion protection.
What is the difference between Surface Mount (SF) and In Ground (IG)?
Surface Mount (SF): Bolted to existing concrete.
In Ground (IG): Embedded into freshly poured concrete.
Can I mount bike racks to pavers or asphalt?
Pavers: A concrete pad beneath the pavers is required, or consider a freestanding rack.
Asphalt: Not recommended. Freestanding racks are preferred.
What is core drilling?
Core drilling is the process of drilling into existing concrete to create a hole where new concrete can be poured for mounting in-ground products. Video coming soon.
Does my bike rack come with mounting hardware?
Surface Mount: No, but hardware can be added to your order.
In Ground: Yes!
Assembly hardware: Yes, hardware for assembly (ex. racks to rails or freestanding units) is included.
Bike Lockers: Include both assembly and anchoring hardware.
What size mounting hardware do I need?
Hardware size varies by product. Please refer to the specific product page or contact us for guidance.
